Sia Title: Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor) or 1099

Project Title: Senior Accountant-US Entities

Level: Mid-Senior for Consultants- Mid for Specialists

Project Length: This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months

Project Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Contractor is expected to be on site 4 days per week in our Charlotte office

The expected compensation for this contract is $83,200 to $93,600 per year or $40-$45 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead monthly closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Investigate and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies promptly
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Support process improvements and ensure accuracy of financial data across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate information flow
• Manage and problem-solve transactional accounting activities as needed (AP, AR, bank recs, etc.)
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• We are looking for someone with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles and month-end close processes
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct is a must
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis) are required for this position
• The candidate need excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with teams across departments; must be detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
• They should be know for their ability to problem solve and work under pressure with minimal supervision and have to be self-motivated, proactive, and hands-on
