Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary liaison between Health & Sustainable Products team and various stakeholders coordinating information and supporting management of multiple projects related to healthy sales, insurance incentives, animal welfare, value chain emissions, human rights, plastic packaging among others.
- Create operational efficiencies within the department, improve processes related to collection of data as well as socialization of policies across the brands of ADUSA.
- Collaborate with the sustainability organization to develop, monitor and track budgets, process invoices, and manage contracts, ensuring timely resolution of any related issues or disputes.
- Assist in managing key projects and initiatives, ensuring on-track and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to support project execution.
- Assist with research, data collection, analysis, and the development of presentations related to health and sustainable product inititatives.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our company values.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in a sustainability related field
- Understanding of Food Retail Businesses
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite application with strong PowerPoint skills and ability to create effective stylistic presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to build rapport and work effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to understand new concepts quickly and work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
- Ability to work within tight timelines, deadlines and on multiple concurrent projects
- Works well independently in ambiguous situations and with minimal supervision when required
