Job Title: Controller – Multi-Site

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to oversee all financial operations for Tenn-Tex Plastics and Pan American Screw. This role is responsible for implementing sound accounting policies, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and driving financial strategies that support the company’s growth across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing financial operations in a multi-site environment, with the leadership skills to guide teams at different locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies and procedures across all company locations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management for multiple sites; ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Lead the preparation, review, and monitoring of consolidated quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of costs, profitability, and financial performance across business units.
  • Build and maintain risk assessment models to guide financial and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with site leadership teams to support operational improvements and align financial practices.
  • Generate consolidated financial statements, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership.
  • Oversee internal audits and serve as primary liaison for external audits at multiple locations.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Mentor and develop finance/accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Support long-term strategic planning, including potential acquisitions, expansions, and integration efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification: CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a senior accounting role, with at least 3 years in a multi-site management capacity.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in cash management, forecasting, risk assessment, and budget oversight.
  • Hands-on experience with general ledger, AP/AR, and financial reporting systems.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; ERP experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring teams across multiple locations.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment and take on expanded financial leadership responsibilities.
     

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times (e.g., files, binders, or office equipment).
  • Ability to travel between company locations and attend meetings as required
