* Job Summary
* The Contract Success Strategist develops and leads tactical initiatives to enhance contract visibility, customer engagement, and seller enablement by executing strategic plans to expand and enhance business opportunities within the assigned business segment. The Contract Success Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving the success of large and medium-scale contracts by developing and executing strategic frameworks, tools, and processes. This role is responsible for forecasting, performance tracking, and resource alignment to ensure optimal contract execution and growth. The strategist collaborates cross-functionally with sales, program management, and business development teams to align expertise and resources for successful contract launches and ongoing performance.
* What you will do:
* Develop post-award program structure, processes, tools, and structure including forecasting, performance tracking, and contract resourcing.
* Track market trends, contract performance metrics, and recommend optimization strategies for current contracts and identify leads for sales and capture pursuits.
* Work cross-functionally with sales, program management, business development, capture, strategic partnerships, digital integration, ITS, and other key departments to apply the right expertise and resources to optimize contract launch
* Drive continuous contract activity and growth through tactical execution, active monitoring, compliance, and customer engagement.
* Lead and oversee tactical initiatives to promote contract growth.
* Memorialize contract strategy including key objectives, growth goals, target customers, strategic partners, and owner.
* Oversee necessary steps to promote customer and seller awareness and enablement.
* Develop and drive post-award strategy for Large and Medium Contracts including negotiations, stakeholder coordination, marketing approach, performance tracking, target customer identification, partner collaboration, and GTM plays.
* Enable Sellers to implement post-award plays to optimize performance for smaller yet strategic contracts
* What we expect of you:
* Minimum basic requirements
* Bachelor's degree required
* Minimum 2-yr. experience in contracts, business development/sales role in technology field
* Deep understanding of State and Local procurement and contracts through working with or for Public Sector entities
* Proficiency in project management methodology
* BD/sales expertise around IT solutions and services
* Expertise with MS Suite
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred skills, experience and qualities needed
* Demonstrated collaboration behavior with excellent facilitation and negotiation skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions while working independently.
* Must be able to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers and coworkers.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/projects, meet deadlines, facilitate change and delegate responsibility.
* Pay range: $60,000-87,000 depending on experience and skill set
* Annual bonus target of 33.34% subject to terms and conditions of plan
