The Content Writer will create engaging member communications across various channels, collaborating with teams to optimize content for better health engagement.
We’re looking for a skilled and versatile Content Writer to join our Consumer Marketing Content & Creative Strategy team. This role plays a crucial part in executing day-to-day member communications that drive registrations, care visits, and ongoing engagement with our services.
More than just strong writing, we’re looking for someone who can think strategically about the full member journey—connecting messaging across channels, touchpoints, and moments in time, while maintaining a connected and thoughtful voice. You’ll craft clear, compelling content that guides members toward better health outcomes and reinforces our role as their trusted healthcare partner.
Whether it's an onboarding email, a campaign landing page, or a printed flyer handed out at an event, you’ll help ensure every message feels cohesive, on-brand, and meaningful.
You'll partner closely with content strategists, designers, and cross-functional teams, like clinical and product, to create clear, compelling content across a variety of channels to help meet members where they are and motivate them to take action.
Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and proof engaging content for member-facing communications, including: Emails and digital campaigns,Web pages and paid search placements, Social media content and paid ads, SEO articles and educational guides, Flyers, mailers, and event materials, Webinar promotional materials and scripts, How-to content and video scripts.
- Tailor messaging based on audience segment, channel, and conversion optimization best practices and performance insights
- Collaborate with content strategists and writers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring campaigns to life
- Contribute to content calendars, brainstorms, and creative reviews
- Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with legal and compliance requirements
- Continuously optimize content based on performance data and stakeholder feedback
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 3–5 years of professional writing experience, ideally in healthcare, wellness, or tech
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print content formats and campaigns
- Ability to write in a clear, human, and motivating tone, with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to shift priorities and meet tight deadlines, when needed
- Experience using content to drive and measure specific business goals like conversion, education, or retention
- Familiarity with SEO, accessibility principles, and member-first content design is a plus
- A passion for health equity, accessibility, and simplifying complex topics
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $73,700.00 - $95,810.00 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $81,070.00 - $105,391.00 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $88,440.00 - $114,972.00 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $95,810.00 - $124,553.00 + equity + benefits

Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
