Introduction

The Adobe Design Content Strategy (ADCS) team—a group of UX content strategists, UX content designers, and UX writers focused on the in-product experience—is looking for a creative, hands-on manager to lead UX content strategy for our monetization and growth design teams.

This hybrid role combines leadership and individual contribution: you’ll both manage a team of UX content strategists and do hands-on strategy and design work—writing, structuring, and shaping the language of our monetization experiences.

You’ll report to the Group Content Strategy Manager, Cross-Cloud Product & Platform, and help shape how we scale consistent, customer-centered content experiences across Adobe’s ecosystem. You’ll guide a team that crafts messaging and flows that help customers purchase, upgrade, and engage with Adobe products confidently and seamlessly.

What you’ll be working on

Our monetization and growth design teams sit at the intersection of product, business, and brand—focused on how customers discover, buy, and grow with Adobe. As both a manager and a practicing UX content strategist, you’ll bring clarity to complexity, coach a talented team, and contribute directly to key product initiatives.

You will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of UX content strategists and UX writers focused on monetization and growth design experiences.

  • Contribute directly to UX content strategy work—writing, structuring, and optimizing UX flows, messaging frameworks, and system-level guidance.

  • Partner with design and product leaders to set direction, define priorities, and align UX content strategy with Adobe’s business goals.

  • Bring craft rigor and operational clarity to how we work—creating repeatable frameworks, processes, and standards that help the team scale effectively.

  • Foster a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and inclusivity—helping team members elevate their craft, strengthen their impact, and deliver high-quality outcomes that move the business forward.

  • Champion clarity and consistency in how we communicate across surfaces and moments, ensuring our customer experiences are coherent and human.

  • Build trusted partnerships across the organization and model what it means to deliver great outcomes by leading with empathy and accountability.

What you’ll bring to the team

As a leader who values both craft and people, you know that strong design and strong relationships go hand in hand. You’re comfortable switching between strategy and execution, leading with clarity, and creating an environment where high-quality UX content work thrives..

Must-haves:

  • Proven experience as a senior UX content strategist, UX content designer, or UX writer who’s led complex projects or cross-functional initiatives.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating UX writing and content design excellence—grounded in systems thinking and a deep understanding of user needs.

  • A track record of mentoring or coaching others—helping peers or direct reports strengthen their craft and confidence.

  • The confidence to challenge assumptions, influence direction across disciplines, and guide conversations toward better outcomes.

  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to present and advocate for UX content strategy decisions clearly.

  • Experience designing for interconnected systems, such as cross-surface or cross-product experiences.

  • A strategic mindset grounded in empathy, clarity, and collaboration.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in UX content strategy, UX content design, or UX writing, including leadership experience (formal or informal).

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience contributing to or managing centralized systems like terminology, design systems, or content frameworks.

  • Familiarity with subscription or e-commerce models.

  • Background in creative tools, SaaS platforms, or large-scale design systems.

  • Experience working on high-visibility or legacy products.

  • Previous people management experience, or demonstrated leadership in guiding teams and influencing without authority.

How to apply

To be considered for this role, please submit your resume and portfolio. In your portfolio, we’d like to see examples of:

  • Systems-thinking approaches to UX content strategy.

  • Collaboration across complex orgs or product areas.

  • Clear stories about how you’ve improved team effectiveness, collaboration, or business impact.
