Blackpoint Cyber is the leading provider of world-class cybersecurity threat hunting, detection and remediation technology. Founded by former National Security Agency (NSA) cyber operations experts who applied their learnings to bring national security-grade technology solutions to commercial customers around the world, Blackpoint Cyber is in hyper-growth mode,  fueled by a recent $190m series C round.

The Role:

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking a strategic and creative Content Strategist to shape and drive our content efforts - crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences, elevate our thought leadership, and reinforce our cybersecurity expertise.

As the architect behind our content program, you’ll own and manage the content calendar, lead messaging development, and work closely with subject matter experts to bring Blackpoint’s point of view to market through a variety of formats - from short-form campaigns to in-depth editorial. Your work will influence our brand voice, support our demand gen and customer marketing programs, and drive awareness across our partner ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive content strategy aligned to company goals, go-to-market initiatives, and key industry trends.

  • Plan, manage, and maintain the content calendar; mapping content needs across funnel stages, personas, and channels as well as coordinating the production and release of various content pieces.

  • Ensure content strategy and execution are optimized for discoverability and performance across search engines, answer engines, and generative engines (SEO/AEO/GEO), embedding these principles into planning, creation, and measurement.

  • Create and refine short-form communications, blog copy, web, social media and more - to support awareness and demand generation.

  • Lead the development of high-quality long-form content including blogs, white papers, eBooks, case studies, and thought leadership pieces that reinforce our brand and educate the market.

  • Own the editorial process - proofreading, copyediting, and ensuring brand consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all channels.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, demand gen, sales, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to align content initiatives with business priorities.

  • Build scalable content processes, including content briefs, editorial workflows, SEO optimization practices, and performance tracking.

  • Develop and evolve a distinct brand voice and narrative that differentiates Blackpoint Cyber in the market.

  • Bring strong POVs and thought leadership to the content strategy function, influencing the broader marketing roadmap.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally within the cybersecurity or B2B SaaS space, with a strong understanding of the industry landscape and audience nuances.

  • Proven success developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness.

  • Skilled in both long-form and short-form content creation—comfortable producing case studies, white papers, blog posts, ad copy, and web content.

  • Strong editorial judgment with experience structuring narratives, refining tone, and maintaining consistency across channels. Experience managing contributors or serving in an editorial role is a plus.

  • Persuasive storyteller who can tailor messaging for varied audiences and collaborate with subject matter experts to turn complex ideas into compelling, digestible content.

  • Experienced in managing content calendars, editorial workflows, and multi-channel distribution.

  • Prior experience writing for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), resellers, or other cybersecurity-focused audiences is a plus.

  • Background in product or partner marketing is a plus.

Blackpoint Cyber welcomes and encourages applications from qualified individuals of all races,  colors, religions, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, marital  status, or any other legally protected status. We are committed to equality of opportunity in all  aspects of employment.  For eligible employees in the US, Blackpoint offers competitive Health, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance plans, a robust 401k plan, Discretionary Time Off, and other minor perks.
