JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Content Developer will be responsible for supporting our Take 5 Oil Change Brand with developing, editing, tracking, and storing all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the 700+ corporately owned Take 5 Oil Change shops. This role will build a pipeline of new services or existing processes / roles to keep as updated as possibleThey will also need to help develop an online solution to store all SOPs / processes for the field to review when they have questionsThis role will work directly with key operational leaders, HR, Loss Prevention, IT, and Safety to ensure coverage and completeness of each processThis role will also work directly with Training Development to create training for field operators including storyboarding SOP content for LMS training creationDuring new projects / initiatives, this role will involve creating an SOP from scratch, and ensuring completion with project team, field leaders, and support partners.   

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Learning and Development at Take 5 Oil Change you will work closely with the Operations Field Leaders, Regional Training Managers and support center partners to drive awareness and comprehension of all key processes impacting the field across the operations system.  

 

What you’ll be doing: 
  • Own all updates / creation of Standard Operating Procedures 

  • Conduct needs analysis and assessment  

  • Familiar with the ADDIE method 

  • Creation of auditing content  

  • Virtualization and story boarding of content for LMS training intake 

  • Build process for reviewing and updating on an annual basis 

  • Build review and sign off process with key support center / field partners  

  • Build on-line catalog of SOPs for field / support partners to access and review  

  • Support overall training development  

  • Note any gaps in current SOPs  

  • Support new processes / initiatives /roles in developing the standard operating procedures 

  • This role is a work from home position with up to 10% travel  

 

Requirements Driven Brands is looking for:  

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent degree preferred. 

  • Minimum 1-2 years of Technical Writing Process  

  • Minimum 1-2 years of managing projects  

  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Tools  

  • Experience in documenting processes with Operations, HR, Loss Prevention, IT, and Safety 

  • Ability to track multiple projects / documents at the same time 

  • Build system for reviewing and updating SOP 

  • Experience with LMS systems/Adobe Suite/Articulate 360/Microsoft Office

Compensation Range:

$57,800.00 - $103,300.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
