We are seeking a creative, community-minded Content Creator to lead the digital storytelling for CareerLAB—a 12-week fellowship designed for Asian high schoolers, college students, and early-career professionals. CareerLAB isn't just a program; it’s a simulated corporate environment where fellows learn to navigate the "Bamboo Ceiling," master strategic communication, and own actual projects. Your goal is to market this transformative experience, promote our mentor directory, and showcase the impact of our fellows to a global audience.

  • Program Promotion: Develop engaging content to drive sign-ups for the summer cohort (June–August) and recruit expert workshop speakers.

  • Storytelling: Highlight the 12-week journey, including weekly workshops on topics like Imposter Syndrome, Negotiation 101, and Authentic Leadership.

Fellow & Mentor Spotlights: Showcase the "Impact Reports" and projects launched by fellows to prove the program’s value.

  • Community Building: Build active engagement within our Slack community and digital platforms.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside our Marketing and Program Coordinators + Program Managers to ensure Houston-based events and global digital efforts are aligned.

  • Educational Content: Translate complex themes—like navigating corporate politics or boundary setting—into social media assets.

Qualifications

  • Mission-Driven: You are passionate about helping Asian professionals overcome cultural barriers and navigate the corporate "machine".

  • Creative Strategist: You can take a 12-week curriculum and turn it into a compelling narrative that attracts high school students through early-career pros.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working within our tech stack, including Slack, Google Drive, and Freedcamp.

  • Reliable Communicator: You can commit to the professional standards we teach our fellows, including consistent updates and hitting deadlines.

  • Houston Local (Optional but a plus): If you are in Houston, you may have the opportunity to attend local networking events and promote in-person studio sessions.

  • 1-3 years of content creation and community building. Plus if you have experience being a content creator yourself!

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience or other similar experiences / roles.

  • Experience in video editing, social media management and social media posts.
