Assurant is seeking a Consumer Marketing Manager to lead customer lifecycle marketing and strategic growth initiatives across key programs. This unique hybrid role blends CRM, engagement, and retention marketing (B2C) with strategic marketing, client enablement, and program growth support (B2B).
As a strategic partner to internal teams and external clients, you will drive consumer engagement, client program performance, and overall business growth through data-driven insights, cross-functional leadership, and innovative marketing solutions.
We’re looking for a versatile marketer with strong experience in lifecycle, growth, and retention marketing, and a proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and deliver measurable business results.
This opportunity will be an individual contributor role.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Lead strategy, development, and optimization of email, SMS, and automated lifecycle programs.
Build and scale segmentation, personalization, and journey mapping across onboarding, engagement, and renewal.
Develop and manage promotions calendars, KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to measure lifecycle performance.
Conduct A/B and multivariate testing across creative, segmentation, offers, and personalization to improve channel lift.
Partner with Sales, Product, Operations, and leadership to drive retention and renewal strategies.
Leverage AI and advanced martech to improve growth, efficiency, and personalization.
Use data and insights to drive strategy, optimize performance, and inform B2C and B2B recommendations.
Track KPIs and report on campaign performance, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
Lead research initiatives including message testing, naming, offer placement, and comprehension studies.
Act as SME for retail and home services marketing research and competitive analysis.
Monitor client program performance and proactively develop optimization strategies.
Partner with Marketing Strategy & Planning to support client launches and key milestones across paid, earned, and owned channels.
Adapt and develop content, campaigns, and communications for clients and prospects, supporting distribution through marketing or sales channels.
Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to build proactive win strategies and messaging for target clients.
Lead storytelling and messaging frameworks for assigned accounts.
Develop and maintain sales enablement materials, content, and communications.
Lead initiatives across Technology, Sales, Product, Operations, Data, and Creative to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Oversee CRM workflows including campaign development, testing, QA, deployment, and list hygiene.
Ensure compliance, brand consistency, and accuracy across all deliverables.
Align CRM and growth marketing programs with broader business objectives.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, or related field.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant marketing experience in digital, policy renewal and 5 years of consumer marketing experience in product positioning, campaigns, promotions, and multi-channel execution.
Proven experience developing, executing, and measuring B2C and B2B strategies and campaigns.
Experience in working in a matrixed, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrated accountability, urgency, and an ownership‑focused approach in previous roles.
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Home Warranty experience is highly desired.
4 years in product marketing including brand, positioning, promotions, research, and sales support.
Experience in customer, client, and market research.
Proficiency with martech and analytics tools; GA4 preferred experience.
Self-starter with strong accountability, urgency, and ownership mindset.

Pay Range:
$88,000.00 - $147,000.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
