The Role

The Consumer Deposits Product Process Executive is responsible for the end-to-end management of key deposit processes which support critical everyday banking functions relating to account opening, servicing and maintenance, product management, transaction processing and the management of deposit owned issues. Deposit Products Process & Issues Management (DPPIM) team ensures that these processes are designed, documented and functioning appropriately and in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. Through monitoring and controls, DPPIM oversees the performance of our deposit products and services to mitigate risks, identify and resolve issues, and ensure consistent delivery, while identifying opportunities for solutions which increase the efficiency of these processes, aiding in enhanced internal operations and an improved customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide vision, set direction, and implement monitoring routines for Deposit account open, servicing, maintenance, and transaction processing experiences to ensure the overall risk and control environment remains sustainable
  • Oversee end to end issues management process for Deposit Products; ensure that our deposit product processes such as opening an account, processing a check, placing a stop payment, charging of overdraft fees, are working as designed, our processes are documented, key risks are being monitored appropriately, and driving process improvements to fix the client experience and/or create expense savings. 
  • Build, lead, and direct a global team that ensures processes are designed, documented and functioning in accordance with applicable regulations and policies
  • Oversight of Deposits RAU management including reviews of controls and risk. 
  • Lead the team responsible for conducting recurring testing on our front-line controls to ensure our deposit operations are sound and when we are out of tolerance, the proper owners of those controls are engaged to improve the controls or open issues.
  • Partner with internal audit, IT&V, regulators, and other key stakeholders to help coordinate all deposit exams, MRA reviews

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:  work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management experience

  • Expert communication, partnership, and consultation with senior and executive partners in the line of business and across CSBB
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data and insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
