Wells Fargo Consumer and Small Business Banking
Consumer and Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to consumer banking, consumer lending, and small business customers through over 4,300 retail bank branches and more than 11,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia, as well as through 20 customer service centers. CSBB is focused on continuously improving our customer satisfaction, by simplifying our products, pricing and processes and targeted innovation at scale.
The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Consumer and Small Business Banking Analytics & Strategy Executive. The CSBB Product and Customer Science teams will align under this leader, who will also build dedicated data strategy support for Payments, Business Banking, Deposits, and Lending. This Executive and their teams will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across the consumer banking division. This role will leverage advanced data analytics, strategic thinking, and business acumen to support Consumer and Business Banking initiatives and optimize performance across key areas such as customer and product profitability, sales tracking, liquidity trends, business development, and compliance risk management. In this position you will:
  • Provide vision and set direction for multiple high impact initiatives, analytics and reporting to achieve long-term strategic objectives that impact organization and management across functions
  • Develop highly complex, multi-year strategy, forecasting and process improvements Provide thought leadership to develop and implement strategic solutions to highly complex and potentially companywide processes
  • Utilize strategies, data, technical resources, and process improvements to improve business outcome
  • Lead a team of managers and senior professionals to develop higher risk strategies and process improvements from data that drives business decisions
  • Collaborate with and influence team, peers, managers, senior management, technology, risk, and compliance
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Extensive Experience in Consumer Banking data analytics, strategy, and insights experience
  • Proven experience in collaborating across teams and lines of business within large organizations
  • Strong proficiency with executive-level presentation materials and briefings, and the ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and anecdotal feedback to structure complex problems and make decisions
  • Strong change management and leadership focus
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving and execution skills; insight and ability to proactively identify opportunities to innovate and improve the business
  • Exceptional people leadership, relationship development and negotiating skills; ability to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and teams
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$250,000.00 - $420,000.00
