Job Overview:

The LBS Consulting Services organization comprises several different disciplines including HR, Marketing, Startup and Real Estate consulting. Each provides a strategic advisory service to internal and external stakeholders. As these practices continue to the scale, the business requires strong operational leadership to standardize processes, drive consistency, improve efficiency, and support sustainable growth across all consulting lines, including scalable support models for advisors with lower complexity needs across a broad range of consulting topics.

The Consulting Services Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the operational backbone of Consulting Services organization. This role partners closely with consulting leaders including the VP of Consulting Operations to design, implement, and maintain standardized processes, tools, reporting, and governance frameworks. The Operations Specialist translates strategy into execution by supporting engagement lifecycle management, pricing operations, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across all consulting lines, while also enabling content led and AI assisted approaches that support advisors with low complexity needs.

Scope & Impact:

  • Supports the Consulting Services operating model across all affiliation models (Strategic Wealth, Linsco, Supported 1099, Core, etc.)
  • Acts as a key operational partner to consulting leaders across HR, Marketing, Real Estate, Startup Consulting, and future verticals.
  • Executes and maintains standardized processes, workflows, SOPs, and documentation.
  • Provides operational insights, reporting, and analysis to consulting leadership.
  • Identifies efficiency opportunities and supports scalability initiatives.
  • Serves as an operational escalation point for day to day engagement and process issues.
  • Support the design and operationalization of scalable advisor support pathways.
  • Engage directly with advisors across broad range of business consulting topics, supporting intake, solution navigation and execution coordination.
  • Aid in the development of AI enabled solutions for low complexity advisors’ needs.
Responsibilities:

Enterprise Execution

  • Support the development and maintenance of standardized intake, scoping, engagement lifecycle, and delivery frameworks.
  • Ensure workflows are consistently applied across consulting verticals while accommodating model specific needs.
  • Maintain documentation standards, SOPs, and engagement governance materials.
  • Partner with go to market consulting teams to ensure operational alignment.
  • Incorporate differentiated workflows and engagement paths for advisors with low complexity needs across multiple consulting topics

Operational Governance & Quality Control

  • Support engagement standards and quality checkpoints throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Monitor advisor experience consistency and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track and resolve operational issues impacting delivery quality.

Capacity Planning & Resource Management

  • Maintain and update capacity tracking models across consulting verticals.
  • Identify utilization trends, bottlenecks, and scaling risks.
  • Support workforce planning, forecasting, and readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to shift demand from high touch consulting to scalable content or AI enabled support models.

Reporting & Performance Insights

  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards related to engagement volume, delivery performance, utilization, and revenue.
  • Prepare recurring operational reports and ad hoc analysis for leadership.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Cross Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Consulting leaders, Finance, Sales, Technology partners.
  • Support change management efforts related to new tools, processes, and operating models.
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to consulting teams.
  • Partner with technology on AI enablement to support the rollout and adoption of new AI learning and content capabilities.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, professional services, or strategy.
Core Competencies:
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
  • Experience working cross functionally in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • Process orientation with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Comfortable influencing without authority and driving operational discipline.
Preferences:
  • Experience supporting service based advisory operating models. (LNS and Linsco Strategic Wealth)
  • Proficiency with reporting tools, spreadsheets, and workflow management systems. (4 years of experience with Smartsheets, Salesforce…Hub Spot is nice to have)
  • Experience partnering with or supporting AI enabled tools, content platforms, or learning technologies preferred. (CoPilot would be a plus)

 

Pay Range:

$76,864-$128,106/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
