The Consultant plays a key role in delivering tailored solutions to clients through the configuration and implementation of the DealCloud platform. Positioned above the Associate Consultant level, this role involves leading small to mid-sized client engagements, supporting enterprise implementations, and applying industry best practices to drive client success. Consultants are expected to take greater ownership of client relationships, contribute to solution design, and mentor junior team members while continuing to build expertise in private capital markets and enterprise SaaS delivery.
What you will do:
Lead Mid-Sized Client Engagements
Manage and deliver small to mid-sized implementations, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and overseeing project communications and escalation management.Support Enterprise Engagements
Contribute to large-scale implementations by supporting senior consultants and collaborating across teams to ensure delivery excellence.Solution Design & Industry Application
Translate client requirements into platform configurations using industry best practices, identifying potential risks and design impacts.Client Interaction & Requirements Gathering
Lead client discovery sessions virtually or onsite (up to 30% travel), document business requirements, and provide consultative guidance throughout the implementation process.Platform Configuration & Data Strategy
Configure the DealCloud platform based on client needs and analyze legacy data sets to inform system design. Use Excel to map, normalize, and import disparate data sets.Project Management & Internal Operations
Maintain internal systems, track timelines, log utilization hours, and ensure all in-scope requirements are met during implementation.Mentorship & Team Collaboration
Provide coaching and guidance to Associate Consultants, supporting their development and contributing to team success. Serve in a supporting role on complex projects led by senior consultants.Scoping & Documentation Support
Participate in scoping and order form completion for Tier 3–5 engagements, contributing to accurate project planning and client alignment.
What you will need:
2–4 years of experience in professional services, SaaS implementation, or within private equity/investment banking with strong business process knowledge.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Subject matter expertise in legal industry
Proven success in managing client-facing software implementation projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and import.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage escalations and think critically under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Passion for learning new technologies, business models, and implementation methodologies.
Preferred Experience & Skills
1–3 years of experience with the DealCloud platform or similar enterprise SaaS solutions.
Familiarity with relational database concepts and CRM best practices.
