Join Wipfli as a Consultant II of Revenue Cycle, guiding clients through the complexities of optimizing financial performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Take lead role in sales for opportunities with current and potential new clients
  • Within a team environment, leads client engagements and assists in the development of unique solutions within revenue cycle management.
  • Performs Revenue cycle assessments while maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines e.g. HIPAA
  • Supports practice leadership at all levels in coordinating education and re-education needs for revenue cycle staff during training engagements
  • Provides front and back office process review and implements process improvement revisions as needed; conducts audits of front and back office processes
  • Use hospital information system(s) in addition to multiple enabling technology solutions to conduct detailed revenue cycle assessments
  • Oversees change management process to include mapping out of revenue cycle best practice workflow updated, enduring all recommendations are successfully implemented.
  • Maintains awareness of reimbursement trends and facilitates recommended and implements related responses
  • Monitors, tracks and reports client post tactical action plan reviews to endure tasks are completed per the statement of work
  • Ensures strategic direction of projects are in line with organization business plans
  • Accountable for the development of project documentation to facilitate sharing of project outcomes and best practices
  • Identifies possible risks with contingency plans or work-around solutions with the client on a continual basis during the project life cycle
  • Makes formal presentations to various audiences
  • Assists in the development of training programs for departments to increase knowledge of relationship between change behavior, billing flow and reimbursement

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Revenue Cycle operations experience (Hospital/SNF/Behavioral Health) (include knowledge in pre-authorization, pre-admission processes, denials management, claims adjudication, etc.)
  • Revenue cycle business process optimization experience (includes knowledge of edits, denials, holds, reimbursement, etc.)
  • Revenue Cycle Data Analysis Knowledge of key performance indicators for Revenue Cycle and national benchmarks
  • Deep knowledge of facility coding and billing processes
  • Project management experience
  • Revenue cycle information systems knowledge
  • Exceptional Customer Service
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Travel: 40%-50%
  • Provider education experience
  • RHIA, CRCR or other Revenue Cycle credentials

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $60,000 to $81,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
