The Opportunity

Praxis is hiring a highly motivated and detail obsessed Lead to drive the execution of our congress and external event presence – bringing our science, story, and patient mission to life on the global stage.  You’ll own the coordination and logistics of all medical congress activity across the organization, from booth production to speaker engagements.  You’ll partner cross-functionally with teams like Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, and Communications to ensure high-caliber outcomes This is a dynamic, hands-on role requiring exceptional planning skillssharp vendor management and a desire to dive into the details to deliver events that are on-brand, on-message, and high-impact. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Praxis’ congress strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders by defining key objectives and creating solid action plans for external events.  
  • Project manage end-to-end execution of Praxis’s presence at major medical and scientific congresses (e.g., AAN, AES, EAN) as well as country-level and regional meetings in the US and abroad. 
  • Coordinate internal planning timelines, budget tracking, and vendor management (booth design, A/V, shipping/logistics). 
  • Ensure seamless onsite execution: staff scheduling, materials delivery, real-time troubleshooting, and compliance with congress rules Support speaker engagement logistics including travel, honoraria, and contracts.  
  • Track performance and feedback from each congress to continuously improve execution.  
  • Maintain up-to-date congress calendar and provide ongoing reporting to stakeholders. 

Qualifications and Key Success Factors

  • 5+ years of experience coordinating events in a life sciences, biotech, or healthcare setting— with direct congress or tradeshow experience 
  • Highly organized and adaptable; thrives in high-pressure, fast-moving environments 
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills  
  • Resourceful and proactive—takes ownership of problems and solves them  
  • Comfortable working across functions and time zones, with excellent attention to detail  
  • Knowledge of industry compliance standards (e.g., PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act) a plus

To round out our world-class total rewards package, we provide annualized base salary compensation in the range listed below.  Final salary range may be modified commensurate with job level, education, and experience.
