Job Overview:

The Technology Solutions & Partnerships team is focused on providing guidance, support and solutions for technology tools that are leveraged by advisors, program managers, and their staff. Our mission is to help practices navigate the world of financial technology.  We aim to positively impact practice efficiency, growth and satisfaction with their tech stack.

This important hire will focus on helping Advisors with the configuration, implemenetation, and adoption of technology tools that are essential to the success of their relationships with their clients. This position will initially focus on key areas of ClientWorks and CRM Products.

Candidates for this role must have a passion for, and interest in, the technology used by firms to support their practices (i.e. ClientWorks, CRM, Financial Planning, Performance Reporting, etc.).  This role collaborates with advisors and internal teams to meet clients' tech needs.  Collaboration with external partners, as well as internal business, operations and technology groups, will be critical to ensure the needs of our advisors are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the configuration and implementation of specific technology (starting with key areas of ClientWorks and third party CRM tools, but potentially including other technology utilized by advisors) for Advisors within LPL’s Supported Models

    • Demonstration of functionality and capabilities of key ClientWorks components, CRM Tools, and user-customizable features

    • Contribute to, and follow, project plans for implementation & configuration projects.

    • Primary resource for tactical questions & project execution during configuration projects

    • Configuration of customizations & features, as prescribed by technology consultants and advisor

    • Training of clients in order to be able to leverage tools going forward

    • Coordinate onboarding efforts when an advisor is first using tech tools. Strong communication and expectation setting of deliverables is a must

  • Participate in answering inbound inquiries for our Tech Consulting team, helping advisors and their teams to navigate through questions that may arise

  • Shadow technology consultants to assist in conversations and learn from their experience; serve in a secondary capacity designing project plans for engagements

  • Contribute to broader team initiatives (ideas and execution), as directed by senior team leadership

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years client facing experience; hands-on technology usage, client service, project coordination and/or training experience a strong plus

  • Exceptional responsiveness to emails and requests, Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and shows a proactive willingness to contribute and continuously learn.

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to learn and become an advanced user of ClientWorks, Redtail and Wealthbox CRM’s. Experience with these systems, especially in an administrative capacity, is preferred

  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate issues, and provide solutions, or in many cases, responses without defined solutions

  • Able to multi-task across different projects and client engagements

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with LPL Systems (ClientWorks), MyRepChat, Jump, PreciseFP, MoneyGuide, Morningstar, eMoney, RightCapital, Nitrogen (fka Riskalyze), Albridge, Black Diamond and/or Orion a plus

  • Data management skills/API experience a plus

  • Intermediate skillset in Excel, with comfort comparing and analyzing data sets

  • Financial services, Advisor Practice, Broker/Dealer, Financial Custodian and/or FinTech/SaaS Technologies experience a plus


 

Pay Range:

$56,625-$94,375/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
