Xylem is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Concur T&E Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems team. This role is responsible for the administration, optimization, and support of our global Travel & Expense (T&E) platform, SAP Concur. You will partner closely with Finance, HR, IT, and operational teams to ensure the system aligns with business needs, meets policy and regulatory requirements, and delivers seamless user experience worldwide.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience configuring T&E systems—particularly SAP Concur—and is comfortable working in the system backend to support policy updates, workflows, integrations, and global system enhancements.

This is a hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must be within commuting distance.

Concur T&E Systems Analyst Key Responsibilities:

System Administration

  • Manage day-to-day administration of SAP Concur, including configuration, release management, entity management, case management, travel allowance builds, accounts and ledger setup/maintenance, workflows, and other technical components.

  • Maintain system parameters and ensure alignment with corporate travel and expense policies.

Process Optimization

  • In partnership with T&E process owners, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, and the overall user experience across the T&E lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine workflows, streamline expense reporting, and enhance approval processes.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure the Concur platform enforces internal controls and complies with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, system data, and insights.

Change Management

  • Assess impacts of system changes and develop effective change management plans.

  • Communicate updates to stakeholders, set expectations, and support adoption of new functionality or processes.

  • Provide training and documentation to end users as needed.

Integration & Data Flow

  • Serve as the primary contact supporting integrations between Concur and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), Workday, and corporate card providers.

  • Monitor data flow and troubleshoot issues related to imports, approvals, postings, and reconciliation.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor T&E activity, compliance, trends, and KPIs.

  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

User Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Concur technical support and issue resolution.

  • Create and maintain documentation on new or updated system functionality.

Vendor Management

  • Partner with SAP Concur and other third-party providers to manage updates, enhancements, escalations, and support cases.

Education

  • Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering SAP Concur or similar T&E platforms.

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA, and corporate card programs.

  • Demonstrated background in system configuration, reporting, and process improvement.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of T&E policies, workflows, controls, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in SAP Concur administration across Expense, Travel, and Request modules.

  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and global teams.

  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Concur integrations to SAP S/4HANA, financial systems, and HRIS platforms.

  • Knowledge of global T&E policies and multi-currency environments.

  • Experience with Power Apps, SharePoint, or similar tools.

  • SAP Concur certifications.

  • Project management experience.

The estimated salary range for this position is $72,000 to $85,000 plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
