This is a remote position.
We are seeking to employ an innovative, competent, qualified, and experienced Computer Hardware Procurement Specialist.
Purpose
Have a love for technology and be willing to use passion and expertise to help guide clients to get the best solutions for their needs be it, workstations, laptops, monitors, servers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, UPS, line of business applications, etc.
Job Requirement
• Send requested hardware quotes to clients.
• Research new and innovative products/solutions relevant to the company’s service
offering
• Monitor quality and cost of products being sold and make recommendations
accordingly to the sales and service team
• Work with vendors to negotiate the best price possible
• Ensure hardware is purchased cost-effectively to meet client deadlines and
allow the service team sufficient time to configure and deploy
• Proactively communicate estimated time of arrival to both the service team and
the client
• Timely return/exchange of defective products
• Inventory control
• Develop relationships with vendors and suppliers to improve the company’s
purchasing power
• Research best pricing as client liaison to vendors
• Keep on top of vendor incentive programs/ways to increase margins
Requirements
Qualifications
• Experience in the computer services industry
• Well-developed interpersonal customer service and relationship building skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• An ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• The ability to work under pressure and to prioritize work effectively
