Position Overview:

TruTechnologies is seeking an entry-level QA (Quality Assurance) Analyst to help ensure the highest level of quality in our mobile and web applications. This individual will be a key contributor to our software QA team. This is a unique opportunity to become immersed in software development and testing at an early-stage startup with experienced leadership and significant market traction. Primary responsibilities include creating and executing test plans, finding and documenting issues, and managing issue resolution across all product releases. The right individual has a strong sense of ownership and accountability, is detail-oriented and organized, is responsive to deadlines, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable with mobile and web applications and have an interest in software development and/or QA testing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create testing steps and maintain test plans for mobile and web applications

  • Execute test plans and administer regression testing runs across multiple environments and deployments

  • Document issues in our issue management system and work with developers and product managers on resolving discrepancies, software bugs, and other defects

  • Maintain testing and validation documentation for product releases, internal tools, and system validations

  • Work with our engineering and product teams to understand product specifications

  • Additional quality-related initiatives and projects relevant to a company of our stage

What You’ll Need:

  • Interest in QA testing and/or software development

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized

  • Ability to be proactive in resolving issues

  • Bachelor’s degree - no particular major is required, nor is a background in QA or technology

  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.7+
