About the Role
SafeRide Health is seeking a Compliance Analyst II to support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and risk management across Medicaid and Medicare Advantage programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring SafeRide meets contractual and regulatory obligations while supporting scalable compliance operations in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment. You will work cross-functionally to translate regulatory requirements into actionable processes that reduce risk and improve access to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support client and government audits, including documentation gathering, coordination, and follow-through
- Assist with RFP responses for managed care organizations and government agencies
- Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regulatory research and translate requirements into operational guidance
- Support compliance education and training initiatives across teams
- Manage and track external and internal corrective action plans (CAPs)
- Perform internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Support reporting and encounter compliance oversight activities
- Coordinate employee screening and compliance-related onboarding requirements
- Provide compliance support for operational implementations and new market launches
- Assist with compliance committee preparation, documentation, and follow-ups
- Contribute to system and process improvements tied to compliance initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, compliance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare compliance, Medicaid, Medicare, or related areas
- Working knowledge of audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans (CAPs)
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them operationally
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Medicaid audits (client or government)
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks and risk management programs
- Exposure to policy development and compliance training programs
- Experience in NEMT or healthcare services environments
