The Community Relations Manager leads the management and execution of Lowe's nonprofit partnership portfolio across national and Charlotte-based community investments focused on Safe & Affordable Housing initiatives. This role manages nonprofit partnerships across the full lifecycle, including grant administration, program development, stakeholder engagement, partnership strategy, and impact measurement, to advance Lowe's community impact priorities. The role also develops opportunities that strengthen Lowe's brand reputation, increase associate engagement, deepen nonprofit relationships, and drive measurable business value, including support for Lowe's PRO business and local market engagement. In addition, this position partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful, measurable impact aligned with enterprise priorities and supports nonprofit coordination and recovery efforts during large-scale disaster events.

What You Will Do
- Lead Lowe's national and Charlotte nonprofit partnership portfolio focused on Safe & Affordable Housing initiatives, serving as the day-to-day relationship lead for assigned nonprofit organizations.
- Manage annual nonprofit grant cycle administration, including application review, funding recommendations, reporting requirements, compliance tracking, and stewardship activities to ensure responsible investment management.
- Develop and execute partnerships and programs that enhance Lowe's community impact storytelling, strengthen brand reputation, and align with enterprise business priorities.
- Identify opportunities to drive measurable business ROI through nonprofit partnerships, including collaboration opportunities connected to Lowe's PRO business, customer engagement, and local market activation.
- Create and scale associate engagement opportunities through volunteerism, community service projects, and nonprofit partner activations that strengthen Lowe's culture and community presence.
- Partner closely with nonprofit organizations to develop impactful community programs, activations, and initiatives aligned with Lowe's focus areas and values.
- Align partnership activations with enterprise storytelling and business objectives in collaboration with public relations, marketing, government affairs, sustainability, internal communications, and field leadership teams.
- Coordinate community impact communications and storytelling opportunities that highlight Lowe's investments, associate engagement, and nonprofit partner outcomes across internal and external channels.
- Oversee partnership budgets, grant allocations, program tracking, reporting, and impact measurement to ensure responsible stewardship of community investments, evaluate program effectiveness, and inform future investment decisions.
- Support enterprise disaster response initiatives during large-scale disaster events by assisting with nonprofit partner coordination, funding support activities, and community recovery efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree communications, public relations, nonprofit management, business, marketing, public administration, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 7 years of experience in corporate community relations, corporate foundation management, nonprofit organizations, disaster response, public relations, corporate communications, or related fields
- 5 years of experience managing nonprofit partnerships, grantmaking programs, or community investment initiatives
- 1-3 years of direct or indirect leadership experience
- Experience managing budgets, partnership funding, and program reporting
- Experience with Benevity grant cycle administration and charitable giving platforms
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Skills/Education
- Experience working within a large corporate environment or national nonprofit organization
- Experience supporting disaster response or community recovery initiatives
- Knowledge of community impact measurement, storytelling, and ESG/community investment reporting
- Experience collaborating with field-based teams, retail operations, or supply chain organizations
- Experience developing associate engagement or volunteer programs
