Community Engagement Representative - Entry-Level
We’re looking for motivated, passionate individuals to join us as Community Engagement Representatives. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to connect with individuals at local events, public gatherings, and community spaces, raising awareness for vital causes, encouraging action, and supporting impactful initiatives.
Role Summary:
As a Community Engagement Representative, you will actively engage with the public, representing the organization at various local events. Your role will involve sparking meaningful conversations, driving support through donations, registrations, or sales, and advocating for the organization’s mission to inspire lasting community change.
Primary Responsibilities:

Attend and represent the organization at community events, outdoor festivals, and public outreach initiatives

Build authentic connections with potential donors, supporters, and clients through direct, face-to-face interaction

Deliver persuasive presentations to educate and promote the organization’s mission

Consistently meet or surpass engagement and fundraising goals on a daily and weekly basis

Cultivate long-term relationships with community members, fostering continued support

Collaborate with team members to explore new outreach opportunities and strategies

Maintain a professional image while adhering to ethical sales and outreach practices
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach is an advantage but not required

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse individuals

Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with new people in person

Highly motivated with a goal-oriented mindset and a drive to achieve results

Ability to work autonomously while being an effective team player

Willing to travel locally for events and outreach activities
