For our Community, they are charged with ensuring players understand the current and future state of games. We strive to consistently and proactively manage player expectations and ensure we surprise and delight players at every opportunity.

As a Community Management Intern, you’ll work with Riot Games’ community teams to help execute programs and initiatives that deepen community engagement, build strong influencer relationships, and deliver impactful marketing communications that inspire, delight, and inform players across all of Riot’s games. You’ll help ensure our communications are both globally aligned and locally relevant to players across social media and partner with creators and influencers to bring campaigns to life. Overall, you will be part of the core team that connects our players, our brand, and our product teams to grow an engaged player community deeply connected to all of Riot’s IP.

In your application, you will select which product you prefer to apply for:

Internships are available on the League of Legends, VALORANT, and Riot Games Brand teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Work across Brand, Creative, Editorial, Influencer, Social and PR teams to champion player-first ideas and help build campaigns and strategies that support goals at the global level
  • Assist with the creation and execution of the communication strategy for players, including through social platforms and with our community of content creators
  • Work with the global Publishing team to escalate player needs and provide visibility into specific behaviors and trends
  • Help deliver player-facing opportunities and experiences that connect the community with key beats and events.
  • Coordinate with global and regional partners to ensure consistent messaging and impactful campaign delivery.
  • Track, analyze, and report on community, influencer, and social campaign impact to optimize future efforts.
Required Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a college, university or non-degree program
  • Graduating in the 2027 calendar year
  • Available to work full-time hours for the 12 week internship duration
  • Eligible to work in the country that you reside in during this remote program
  • Experience or education in community management, influencer relations, marketing communications or related field
  • Familiarity with League of Legends, VALORANT, or Riot’s IP
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with online gaming and/or digital content creation
  • Familiarity with marketing communications planning and campaign integration
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will certainly be looking at your past studies and experience, but for this role, we also look for dedicated people with a personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about the experiences of players, this could be the role for you!

At Riot Games, we put players first. That mission drives every decision in our quest to create games and experiences that make it better to be a player.
