About Chili Piper

Chili Piper is a B2B SaaS startup. Our product helps clients turn inbound leads into qualified meetings instantly, helping revenue teams connect to buyers faster. We are a fully remote global team dedicated to solving interesting problems, helping others, and having fun.

We’re growing fast and we're ready to take over the world (in the most civil and appropriate way possible, of course).

Job description

At Chili Piper, community and events are at the heart of our GTM strategy. From intimate dinners to large-scale activations like our annual ChiliPalooza, we bring together top B2B leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and build lasting relationships.

We’re hiring a Community & Events Manager to help us scale these experiences and deepen our relationships with the GTM community. Someone organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects with precision.

This role reports directly to Rox, VP of Marketing, and works cross-functionally with Partnerships and Sales to execute Chili Piper’s global event strategy.

You’ll own event logistics end-to-end, manage collaborations, and nurture our relationships with GTM leaders and communities. You’ll also think creatively about how we show up at each event and ensure every initiative runs smoothly and delivers measurable impact.

Role overview
As a Community & Events Manager at Chili Piper, you’ll:
  • Own the annual event calendar: create and maintain the list of events where Chili Piper should have a presence

  • Manage execution end-to-end: handle logistics, budgets, venues, vendors, shipments, swag, and on-site coordination

  • Run event promotion from start to finish (e.g. build event landing pages, export contact lists from our CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot) to target attendees by city or segment; send invites, reminders, and follow-ups independently etc.)

  • Collaborate across teams:

    • With Marketing for branding, design, and promotion

    • With Sales to identify and invite prospects and customers

    • With Partnerships to coordinate sponsors and activations

  • Ensure smooth on-site execution: keep schedules on track and deliver a seamless experience for attendees

  • Track performance: collect attendee data, measure engagement, and report on event outcomes and pipeline impact

  • Amplify results: work with Marketing to repurpose event content (photos, videos, testimonials) for social channels and post-event communication

  • Maintain relationships: build and nurture connections with GTM leaders, partners, and community members

  • Manage vendors and budgets: source partners, negotiate rates, and ensure quality and cost control

  • Propose new ideas: suggest creative formats and collaborations that strengthen Chili Piper’s GTM community and presence

What we’re looking for
  • Builder mindset → you don’t wait for someone to tell you how - you figure it out

  • Tech-savvy operator → you know your way around CRM exports, spreadsheets, event tools, and email automation

  • Hands-on doer → you’re able to do the execution and track results yourself

  • Creative problem-solver → when a venue cancels or a vendor flakes, you find a workaround fast

  • Organized and proactive → you turn chaos into systems and always think two steps ahead

  • Strong communicator → you can coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and execs smoothly

  • Customer-first attitude → you care about creating memorable, frictionless experiences from invite to post-event follow-up

  • Curious and eager to learn → you’re always exploring new tools, trends, and ideas to make each event better than the last

Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in event management, field marketing, or community roles ideally in B2B SaaS

  • Proven ability to plan and execute events - from small dinners to large activations

  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and event platforms (Lu.ma, or similar).

  • Comfortable building simple landing pages, managing email lists, and running event promotion campaigns

  • Skilled in vendor sourcing, budget tracking, and on-site coordination

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities

  • Familiar with tracking and reporting event performance (attendance, engagement, and pipeline impact)

  • Experience managing partner collaborations or maintaining relationships with GTM leaders and communities is a plus

Bonus
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS, RevOps, or MarTech industries

  • Prior involvement in partner activations or co-marketing events

  • Familiarity with tools like Webflow, Figma for light design or project coordination

  • Experience managing sponsorships or collaborations with other brands

  • Comfortable using analytics tools to measure event outcomes

  • Strong network or prior engagement within the GTM, Sales, or Marketing communities

  • Background in social media or content amplification around events (e.g., capturing and repurposing event moments)

Interview Process

We like to keep things simple and transparent. Here’s what you can expect if you apply:

1. Application review

We’ll review your background and experience to make sure there’s a good fit for the role.

2. Culture add interview

A first chat to get to know you: what drives you, how you like to work, and what unique perspective you’d bring to Chili Piper.

3. Assessment

A short, practical assignment to see how you think and approach real product marketing challenges. It’s not a test, we just want to see your creativity and thought process.

4. Executive interview

The final step. We’ll talk about your bigger picture: your passion for tech, your understanding of our product, and why Chili Piper feels like the right next step for you.

TL;DR

We’re not hiring a “planner.”

We’re hiring someone who can own the full experience - from CRM export to on-site execution - and turn GTM moments into momentum and measurable results.

If that sounds like you, we want to talk.

How we work:

  • Freedom and flexibility. We’re a 100% distributed team working from around the world, and we've been fully remote since 2016. Our team members can work from wherever they want in the world, as long as they show up on our weekly all hands meeting on Zoom.
