We are searching for the best talent for a Communications Specialist located in Pittsburgh, PA; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Horsham, PA or Dallas, TX.   

Purpose: 

The Communications Specialist will support the Patient Service Center (PSC) through the development and execution of clear, tactical internal communications. This role creates and coordinates communication materials for learning initiatives, onboarding updates, process changes, and priority business communications. The Communications Specialist ensures messages are clear, actionable, and delivered consistently to support adoption and execution across PSC. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop communication materials supporting onboarding, learning updates, launches, and process changes.  

  • Draft tactical assets such as announcements, desk drops, job aids, leader talking points, recaps, and reinforcement materials.  

  • Coordinate reviews, edits, approvals, and version control with stakeholders.  

  • Support execution of communication rollout plans in partnership with program and learning teams.  

  • Maintain organized communication assets aligned to approved sources of truth.  

  • Track communication timelines, deliverables, and status updates.  

  • Partner with learning and operations teams to align communication timing and format with frontline needs. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. 

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in internal communications, learning communications, or content development. 

  • Well versed in MS Office Products (Teams, SharePoint, MS Word, PPT, Excel, etc.) 

  • Strong writing and editing skills. 

  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging. 

  • Strong organization, follow-through, and version control skills. 

  • Experience supporting fast-paced, cross-functional environments.  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated environments  

  • Experience supporting frontline, contact center, or operational teams  

  • Familiarity with learning, onboarding, or change communications 

  • Experience with AI / technology applications to optimize communications.
