True Zero is seeking a Communications Specialist to support stakeholder engagement and clear communication of Zero Trust maturity, architecture, implementation progress, and technical outcomes. The role turns complex technical information into concise, audience-appropriate products that support Government decision-making and coordinated execution.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop executive briefings, stakeholder updates, talking points, and concise summaries of maturity and implementation progress.
- Translate technical findings, risks, dependencies, and recommendations into clear language for varied stakeholder audiences.
- Support communication planning for system implementation waves, pilots, architecture reviews, and operational readiness activities.
- Maintain consistent terminology and messaging across scorecards, reports, use cases, engineering artifacts, and implementation updates.
- Coordinate inputs from technical leads and validate communications against approved source material before release.
- Capture stakeholder feedback and ensure communications-related actions are routed to appropriate delivery owners.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Technical Writing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Three or more years of communications or technical writing experience in IT, cybersecurity, or Federal programs.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information for executive and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong editing, presentation development, stakeholder coordination, and quality control skills.
- Ability to manage recurring communications in a fast-moving technical environment.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity modernization or Zero Trust initiatives.
- Experience preparing Federal executive briefings and decision materials.
- Familiarity with architecture, engineering, or implementation terminology.
- PMP or CAPM
- Security+
