They will be responsible for shaping the internal and external communications strategy for SHI Services and Stratascale, bringing new ideas and innovation solutions from ideation to execution. Key responsibilities include the development and delivery of team member communications across multiple channels (email, intranet, etc.) as well as executive-level communications. Additionally, they will oversee day-to-day management of the SHI Services and Stratascale PR program, driving increased share of voice.

Role Description
Include, but are not limited to:
Drive the strategic communications strategy for SHI Services and Stratascale, implementing tactical plans that help shape the corporate narrative both internally and externally
Raise internal awareness of SHI Services / Stratascale initiatives and programs by developing relevant, timely, and engaging content including email copy, newsletters and company announcements
Work with cross-functional teams and department leaders to develop and implement communication strategies, procedures, and processes
Ensure all communication pieces align with the SHI Services / Stratascale brand and adhere to existing guidelines
Lead day-to-day communication activities:
Develop and maintain editorial calendar
Manage the SHI Services / Stratascale corporate intranet in coordination with department leaders
Support executive communications and the coordination of public appearances for company executives
Partner with creative team to develop content and copy for digital displays located in Stratascale headquarters
Support and expand the SHI Services / Stratascale PR program:
Serve as the key liaison between PR agency and SHI Services / Stratascale
Manage / field PR inquiries, coordinating interviews and media appearances with identified spokespeople
Create public relations content such as press releases, bylines, and interview briefs
Track PR placements and deliver monthly reports with support from agency partner
Monitor SHI / Stratascale SOV and brand reputation
Organize media events and press activities
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and grow Stratascale community programs designed to enhance engagement within the Charlotte market:
Develop and maintain a database of community contacts, partnerships, and collaborations
Serve as point of contact for community contacts
Coordinate the participation of Stratascale executives and team members in community events
Partner with field marketing to activate community sponsorships
Collaborate with marketing team members to create content when needed
Lead the submission of company award applications including content curation, application writing, and milestone tracking
Identify and share communication trends and strategies that can increase company outreach and enhance employee engagement
Track and report on communications performance, setting clear KPIs and objectives for both internal and external communications activities and channels
Assist with the development and implementation of marketing communications strategies for SHI Services / Stratascale and other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Marketing

Other Requirements
Completed Bachelor's Degree in strategic communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
At least five (5) years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, or a related role
Experience in marketing preferred
Demonstrated experience developing compelling communications strategies and the ability to drive employee engagement through clear, consistent messaging
Experience writing, editing, and publishing press releases including the use of wire services or distribution platforms like PR Newswire or BusinessWire
Working knowledge of AP Style and a documented history of the ability to write compelling content for internal and external audiences
Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Appspace
Familiarity with WordPress for content management and publishing
Experience leveraging a marketing automation tool (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp) to build and manage email communications
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
