About the Role

Essity’s Health and Medical Solutions team is looking for an experienced Commercial Training Manager. This role will implement operationally efficient and strategic training activities that drive growth for Essity's Health and Medical Sales teams through consistent, best in class sales force readiness strategies and brings value to the sales team and the customer through elevating the knowledge and effectiveness of our sales organization. This is a full-time position and will report directly to the US Commercial Development Director.

The ideal candidate could live in Charlotte, Philadelphia or near a major US international airport and able to travel often within the aligned Essity Regional structure.

What You Will Do
  • Capture and analyze training needs for the Health and Medical NA sales organization which is focused on Incontinence, Wound Care, Orthopedics and Compression Therapy.

  • Lead the development of and/or prepare respective training programs, processes, tools, and activities aligned to identified needs.

  • Partner with Sales, Product and Marketing peers both locally and globally to centrally develop training programs and events that ensure consistent activation of brand and channel GTM strategies and value propositions.

  • Thoroughly understands salesforce business objectives and perception of the category and the brand/products and translates them into meaningful and impactful training experiences.

  • Develop annual training calendar with a focus on product knowledge, corporate selling methodologies, strategic partners activation (Distribution, GPOs, IDNs) and market and competitor insights.

  • Develop and execute methodologies for measuring and tracking A&P investments against improved assessment and deepening knowledge/expertise, leveraging scorecard practices and holding the team accountable, ensuring continued learning and improvement.

  • Develop a team of specialists to drive sales excellence.

  • Ensure compliance in the utilization of all clinical evidence with appropriate Regulatory, Compliance, and Legal partners.

  • Owns and develops the regional training plans and manages any agency networks, or field sales trainer initiatives driving for NA synergies and operational efficiencies wherever possible to deliver best ROI.

  • Experience with content platforms for managing and delivering eLearning curriculum.

  • Presents trainings in the field as needed.

  • Manages resources to support field trainings.

  • Assist the sales field by being available to address ongoing market needs.

  • Strategically and efficiently manage A&P budget.

  • Customize global programs: translation and localization if needed.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree with Master's degree or higher preferred.

  • Clinical credentials while not required are preferred.

  • Strong B2B sales training experience – min 5 years.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to work with graphics software.

  • Ability to activate training for all stages of B2B sales cycle.

  • Sound understanding of the Healthcare environment. Incontinence and/or Medical Products training experience highly desired.

  • Ability to quickly garner respect amongst peers (sales, marketing, finance, distribution and operations).

  • Ability to identify tasks, take initiative and drive for results.

  • Proven problem solver with strong ability to multi-task and handle project deadlines.

  • Demonstrable managerial courage with ability to manage and measure work production.

  • Effective communication, presentation and collaborative skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management experience.

  • Proven ability to identify new market trends and knowledge of healthcare/government legislation and impact on customers.

  • Experience in converting technical product information to Salesforce and customer relevant benefits.

  • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
