Overview
Rite Rug Flooring is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to focus on commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and managing a pipeline in a fast-paced construction environment.
You’ll be working directly with developers, general contractors, and project managers, helping them select and deliver the correct products for their commercial products.
What You’ll Do

Develop and grow relationships with multifamily developers and general contractors

Prospect and generate new business within your assigned territory

Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through closing

Review project plans, bid opportunities, and submit proposals

Follow up consistently to win and secure contracts

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution

Track pipeline activity and maintain accurate records
What We’re Looking For
-
2+ years of outside sales experience in flooring but other construction or building material sales would work
-
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
-
Self-starter who can manage their own schedule and territory

Comfortable working in the field and visiting job sites

Ability to understand project timelines and construction processes

Experience in flooring or commercial is a plus, but not required
