WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are looking for a Commercial Partnerships Associate to join our AMER Commercial Partnerships team, to support our Scale Sales division. As part of our Global Commercial Partnerships team you will be responsible for managing strategic relationships with Services and Technology partners, operating as a trusted advisor to them, our customers, and the Braze sales team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about generating new business pipeline, through building strategic relationships and driving commercial development, in collaboration with external partners and internal teams. This individual is biased toward building repeatability and scalability through creativity and innovation. This person will ideally be proactive in seeking to improve commercial development achievements and partner experience, to ultimately make a measurable impact.

Your responsibility will be to execute revenue-driving programs and initiatives, evangelizing the Braze value proposition within our partner community. Key to the position is effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, BDR, Marketing, and Enablement.

  • Drive strategic alignment between Braze and our partner ecosystem to accelerate commercial development and pole position within the marketing technology ecosystem
  • Work with Strategic Partners, Sales, BDR and Marketing to develop a joint Braze strategy and GTM business plan that includes co-selling and sourcing revenue
  • Execute GTM plans and create vertical-specific practice development plans, delivering successful outcomes for our customers through partners
  • Build out program strategy and lead Business Development with firms to drive impact for the business
  • Build alignment with team sales leads to drive commitment on key partnership goals and strategic initiatives by maintaining access and influence with key stakeholders

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience working with Partnerships, Sales, and Business Development teams to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
  • 3+ years experience in Customer Engagement Sales/Partnerships/Customer Success with a demonstrated experience in obtaining and overachieving on targets
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of MarTech Ecosystem 
  • Adaptive and agile in a quickly changing environment with competing priorities
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • You have exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills. Clients and Partners have the impression that you listen and understand their problems, as you demonstrate value-first communication
  • Strong drive and character qualities that match with Braze's Core Values and inspire others to follow and act
  • Being a fast-growth company, things here change pretty fast. You’re comfortable learning new things (tech, process, people)  and navigating high-change environments

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $68,000 and $80,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $120,000 and $140,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
