In this role, you will:
- Provide servicing activities for low to moderately complex commercial products
- Coordinate all aspects of resolving open customer service issues and interact with internal and external customers
- Provide customer service, loan and regulatory diligence and ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
- Serve as primary liaison and work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, and various Operations and company teams as necessary to progress customer-focused needs
- Review and negotiate basic loan servicing transactions, evaluate risks, and devise strategies to mitigate risks and identify procedural modifications
- Serve as an escalation point in the resolution of client issues
- Provide guidance and training to peers
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Apprentices within the U.S. Department of Labor accredited Apprenticeship program perform a variety of structured duties, including a combination of (however, not limited to) on-the-job training, coursework and mentorship, under the supervision of a hiring manager, program manager and a mentor. Apprenticeships are designed to assist in the professional development of an apprentice, in preparation for the post-apprenticeship role. Program Managers will facilitate an apprentice's required path for professional development. This ensures an apprentice will have gained the proficiency and obtained the required experience of a fully functioning post-program role
- 1+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Military experience in any branch of service: Army, National Guard, Air Force, Space Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard or Reserves
- Experience reviewing financial or operational documentation, including the ability to work with multiple data sources and ensure accuracy
- Familiarity with processes that involve coordination across several teams or stakeholders (e.g., tracking requirements, verifying information, or supporting complex workflows)
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and contribute to effective solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- Solid critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to change, new information, or shifting priorities
- Commitment to delivering excellent service and building strong professional relationships
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Enrollment into Wells Fargo's DOL Registered Apprentice Program is required. Apprentices are considered full-time employees within the program. As such, Apprentices are expected to not only uphold and adhere to Wells Fargo and the Apprenticeship Program, but also expected to follow Wells Fargo's prescribed policies, procedures, and employee expectations
