About the Role

As Commercial Counsel, you will support a broad range of commercial transactions across Doppel’s global business. You’ll handle both customer-facing deals and vendor/supplier agreements, enabling sales growth while ensuring Doppel’s internal operations and procurement contracts are sound. • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
    • Vendor / supplier / procurement agreements (IT, services, cloud infrastructure, professional services, etc.)
    • (Nice to have) Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and privacy/security addenda

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales, Partner/Channel, Procurement, IT, Security, and Finance on contract terms, risks, and negotiation strategy.

  • Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice that accelerates deal cycles while protecting company interests.

  • Improve templates, playbooks, and contracting processes to drive scalability and efficiency.

  • Support contract lifecycle management practices, approvals, and ongoing obligations tracking.

  • Collaborate with Security and Privacy teams on data protection and regulatory compliance as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. (or equivalent) and active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.

  • 4–7+ years of commercial legal experience, with significant in-house or tech/SaaS focus.

  • Strong track record negotiating SaaS license agreements, SLAs, reseller/partner agreements, NDAs, and vendor/procurement contracts.

  • Excellent drafting skills, business judgment, and ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance.

  • Self-starter comfortable working remotely, managing multiple priorities, and partnering cross-functionally.

Nice to Have

  • Experience negotiating DPAs, privacy/security addenda, or working with regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.

  • Background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or other data-sensitive technology environments.

Why Join Doppel

  • Competitive compensation range: $160,000 – $190,000 OTE, plus equity.

  • Remote-first flexibility with home office support.

  • Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k), parental leave, PTO.
