Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for new product launches with measurable KPIs against key performance goals. Work with business development manager(s) and product manager(s) to develop a quantifiable value proposition, messaging and positioning that resonate with target market and buyer persona.
  • Lead discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders to define what a successful product launch looks like
  • Create and execute marketing plans for brand awareness, demand generation, sales and channel enablement. Collaborate with business development, demand generation and product management in the creation of thought leadership, portfolio content, sales tools, integrated campaigns and advertising.
  • Leads start-to-finish marketing collateral development for large, complex initiatives from product messaging and positioning to creative briefs, etc., via multi-department, multi-channel coordination.
  • Track and report on KPIs while providing insights and recommendations to improve results
  • Monitor and report on the success of product launches, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Interpret customer personas and use insights to tailor marketing efforts.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns related to product launches.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
  • Ensure that product marketing campaigns and materials align with vertical business strategies and objectives.

  • Thinks customer-first, balanced with keen category foresight and willingness to embrace the large, complex global and regional product launches with excellence.
  • Capable of managing multiple product launches across matrixed departments, leadership levels and distribution channels  with influence.
  • Displays analytical and creative ability to translate complex development ideas and technical input into customer-facing content.
  • Ability to translate voice of the customer and value propositions into effective product marketing campaigns
  • Comfortable with quickly understanding, filtering, and consolidating input for concise, effective decision making.
  • Thinks and plans big picture but executes with an eye for detail and excellence across all touchpoints.

Key Relationships:

  • Internal: business development, demand generation, sales, product management
  • External: channel partners, engineers, contractors, end users

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Similar
  • 8-10 years of product marketing
  • Specific work experience in commercial buildings
  • Proven history of product management and marketing success in a product marketing position
  • A desire to Collaboration on a high level with internal and external teams with internal teams, channel partners and vendors
  • Possess a strong technical aptitude to understand product features, competitive gaps/advantages, customer challenges and solve problems
  • Ability to travel 10-20%

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD Annual plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
