Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to lead and support high-impact initiatives across Commercial Banking Operations. This role is essential to the successful execution of enterprise-wide programs such as nCino rollouts, operational risk management, and digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of program leadership, process design expertise, and innovation-driven thinking, including experience with AI-enabled solutions.
In this role, you will:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between CBO and the nCino program, ensuring operational requirements are embedded in platform design, roadmap decisions, and post-deployment support models. Represent CBO in program governance forums, advocating for critical requirements, roadmap visibility, and operational risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead end-to-end operational readiness for the nCino platform, including process design, procedure development, testing coordination, training delivery, and go-live execution for Lending Operation teams
    • Identify and escalate risks such as manual workarounds, system decommissioning impacts, and aggressive timelines; Consistently assess and mitigate operational risk of the program
    • Contribute to the Loan Delivery roadmap, including automation initiatives (e.g., auto-booking to Loan IQ), AI-driven document processing, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FR Y-14)
    • As part of deployments, actively participate in the nCino Command Center, including understanding the defect impacts
  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and extension of senior leadership to drive performance initiatives, communicate priorities and key deliverables, and develop presentations to key stakeholders and senior management
  • Strategic Program Leadership: Drive end-to-end execution of initiatives including nCino automation, KPI reporting, document workflow enhancements, and bulk assignment capabilities.
  • Develop strategic initiative portfolio, including development of compelling business cases for strategic investment planning in alignment with strategic objectives; Prepare executive-level materials such as QBR decks, stakeholder updates, and implementation plans.
  • Operational Risk & Controls: Develop and maintain control matrices for Lending Fulfillment and other operational areas, ensuring compliance with evolving risk and regulatory standards.
  • Process Design & Optimization: Lead the design and refinement of operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support scalability.
  • AI & Digital Transformation: Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows and enhance decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent CBO in enterprise forums, influence stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience and/or understanding of Commercial Banking fundamentals, including product and service capabilities, organizational structure and alignment, and internal process/systems/data (nCIno a plus).
  • Strategic Mindset: The ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve measurable, quantifiable results
  • Demonstrated experience in process design and operational transformation
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong Project Management & Risk Management tools. Extensive experiencing leading complex programs aligned business SHRP's and ORE's
  • Familiarity with AI applications in business operations
  • Proven ability to manage risk and compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving technology, risk, and business execution teams
  • Extensive experience in developing business case funding to support desired process improvement solutions; including technology development
  • Executive Presence - Effectively able to convey business case story to include
    • Clarity: Distill complex information into clear and understandable narrative
    • Relevance: Connect the story to the business case, highlighting how it addresses key challenges or opportunities
    • Data Driven: Support their story with data and evidence, reinforcing the credibility of their case
  • Process Management Certifications - Lean Six Sigma, Agile, & Design Thinking
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to work on-site at one of the stated locations on the job opening
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days in office / 2 days remote
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
