IPH is seeking a Commercial Analyst – Aggregator who can blend analytical depth with confident, business‑facing communication to drive performance across the aggregator (price comparison site) channel. In this role, you will own the narrative behind channel performance — translating data into clear, actionable insights that influence brand strategy, partner negotiations, and commercial decision‑making across the IPH pet insurance portfolio.
You will monitor performance against targets at both the brand and portfolio level, diagnose gaps across the funnel, and articulate the “why” behind trends with clarity and confidence. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Aggregator and the Portfolio Brand Aggregator Managers, you will build and maintain reporting, deliver executive‑ready insights, and support commercial discussions with robust evidence. This role requires someone who can move quickly during periods of volatility, quantify impact, and guide stakeholders toward the right actions across multiple brands and aggregator platforms.

Job Summary:
The Commercial Analyst – Aggregator serves as the performance storyteller and commercial partner for one of IPH’s most dynamic acquisition channels. This role blends analytical rigor with strong communication and business acumen, ensuring insights translate into clear actions that improve CPA, conversion, and overall channel efficiency. You will work closely with brand, marketing, pricing, and external partners to influence decisions, shape strategy, and drive measurable results across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel & Performance Management
- Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards that clearly communicate performance against targets at both brand and portfolio levels.
- Interpret performance marketing activity across aggregator partners, competitors, and IPH brands to identify trends and commercial implications.
- Lead structured gap analyses, articulating where performance is off‑track and recommending prioritized corrective actions.
- Support rapid response during volatility by quantifying impact, identifying root causes, and presenting mitigation options.
- Maintain consistent KPI definitions, data quality, and performance scorecards across partners and brands.
Analytics & Insights
- Conduct funnel and driver analyses to pinpoint where value is lost and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Run scenario, sensitivity, and forecasting analyses to support both strategic planning and day‑to‑day decision‑making.
- Partner with Pricing and Finance to incorporate unit economics and margin guardrails into channel recommendations.
- Support test‑and‑learn initiatives, measure uplift, and contribute to the development of a scalable optimization playbook.
Partner & Commercial Support
- Prepare clear, compelling data packs and insights for partner reviews, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Monitor competitor activity across aggregators and adjacent channels, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Maintain a repository of best practices and ensure consistent adoption across brands and partners.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Brand Aggregator Managers, Marketing, and Sales to align insights with brand strategies and commercial goals.
- Collaborate with Product, Pricing, Actuarial, and Finance to ensure recommendations support both growth and margin objectives.
- Partner with Finance and Data Science teams to evaluate internal and external attribution models.
- Support quarterly planning with target tracking, forecasts, and clear variance explanations for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, performance marketing, commercial operations, or marketplace/aggregator environments.
- Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Experience with SQL and/or Python/R preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to track performance against targets, identify gaps, and propose data‑driven solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into simple, compelling narratives for stakeholders.
