Your Title: Cloud Systems Engineer

Job Location: US Remote

What You Will Do

The Cloud Services Systems Administrator will be a critical member of the company's cloud technical support and service provisioning team.  Primary interaction will be between the users, customers, systems administrators and other systems engineers and administrators to provide effective technical services to our customers.  As part of a strong technical IT customer support team function, the ideal candidate uses their technical and business skills to detect, investigate and resolve software and hardware problems. 

  •  Manage all technical systems administration and operation of infrastructure management

  • To administer and implement improvements to accommodate growth annually promote effective IT practices for onboarding of new clients

  • Facilitate the support of subscription services delivery through 24/7/365 operations support

  • Support Azure, Microsoft and Citrix technologies delivering services to our clients

  • Participate in on-call rotation (1 Week every 9-13 Weeks)

  • Continuing to further develop automation with PowerShell Scripting.

  • Assist the Cloud Services Support Team for any escalations and as required.

  • 20% Troubleshooting escalated tickets from Support

  • 20% Project Work such as new builds for Customers

  • 20% Orchestration of Windows OS Upgrades

  • 20% Create and Improve Automations utilizing PowerShell and other scripting languages.

  • 20%  Other duties as assigned

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Microsoft Azure Experience

  • PowerShell Scripting Experience

  • Windows Server and Active Directory administration

  • Troubleshooting various system and server issues

  • Excellent documentation and change management skills

  • Group Policy creation and management

  • Experience in patch management, MS SQL concepts and general networking

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Familiarity with Terminal Services / Remote Desktop

  • Familiarity with IIS

  • Ticket handling experience

  • Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines 

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience, Certifications (AZ-104, VCP, CCP)

  • Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL,  Cloud Services, General Troubleshooting.
