Position Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer


Location: Remote


Employment Type: Contractor - Full-Time (Long-Term)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support our team in building and scaling robust infrastructure solutions.This role will focus on developing isolated development environments using frameworks like Kubernetes, Firecracker, or similar technologies, optimizing load balancing across multiple API providers (e.g., Bedrock, Vertex, Anthropic), and ensuring seamless communication between distributed systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in networking, isolating frameworks, and distributed APIs, with the ability to work independently on complex infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a load balancer to route traffic across multiple API providers (Bedrock, Vertex, Anthropic, etc.) to mitigate rate-limiting issues.

  • Build and maintain isolated development environments using frameworks like Kubernetes, Firecracker, or equivalent technologies.

  • Configure networking solutions, including port-forwarding, to connect dev servers to client devices.

  • Collaborate with a senior mentor and the team to develop scalable infrastructure solutions.

  • Test and integrate third-party sandbox environment providers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in building and managing isolated development environments using frameworks like Kubernetes, Firecracker, or similar.

  • Experience designing distributed API load balancers for high-traffic systems.

  • Strong networking knowledge, including port-forwarding and system communication.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript or similar languages for infrastructure scripting.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver solutions under tight timelines.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their API ecosystems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Bedrock, Vertex, or Anthropic APIs.

  • Background in scaling infrastructure for AI-driven applications.

  • Familiarity with sandboxed development environments and third-party providers.
