Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer will serve as a key delivery engineer for our public cloud ecosystem of partners, customers, and service providers. You will assist AHEAD Architects in the planning and design of AWS, Azure, & GCP solutions for enterprise customers, as well as deployment, testing and cutover of enterprise-scale cloud IaaS and PaaS solutions. You will be a technical expert on both cloud and on-premises infrastructure systems. You will apply your technical expertise in each cloud offering to successfully, and efficiently, assist customers in their cloud adoption. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure solutions 
  • Key resource for hands-on delivery of enterprise Cloud solutions 
  • Review and manage technical requirements and business functional requirements to establish new cloud platforms 
  • Assist in designing Cloud solutions to meet our clients’ technical, security, and business needs 
  • Execute implementation plans to deploy Cloud infrastructure and move workloads to that Cloud 
  • Assist in internal deliverable and IP development 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant Engineering & Consulting experience 
  • 1+ years of relevant Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) delivery experience 
  • 1+ years of relevant DevOps/Platform Engineering delivery experience (preferred) 
  • Consulting experience with large-scale implementations 
  • Attend and assist in technical design workshops for enterprise customers 
  • General knowledge of cloud system engineering principles and considerations 
  • Must be a self-starter, with a strong attention to detail 
  • Demonstrable development programming skills in at least one development language (PowerShell, Python, etc.) 
  • Maintains at least one relevant certification 
  • State or Federal government background (preferred)

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
