Clinical Specialist - Radiology Informatics & Enterprise Imaging
The Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics (EDI) Radiology Clinical Application Specialist partners with customers to understand their needs and delivers compelling, in-depth demonstrations of Philips EDI solutions. This role supports sales executives and account managers throughout the sales process and ensures all customer interactions are engaging, professional, and accurate.
Your role:
- Leverage understanding of clinical workflow and knowledge of Philips products to assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. Constructs answers to RFP questions in an accurate manner that positions Philips to succeed.
- Lead clinical discussion/demonstration with customers. Apply expert clinical experience and superb sales skills to create a unique experience for the customer by telling a compelling story to position Philips products in a manner that fits the customers’ needs, in an energizing and positive manner.
- Build relationships and use sales skills to conduct interviews that uncover a deep understanding of customer workflow, needs and goals to favorably position Philips solutions in a demonstration.
- As the clinical expert, assist and/or conduct customer presentations in a professional and engaging manner. Assist with training the sales force with clinical applications. Assist with customer training for trials or go lives.
- Ensure that all workflow, pre-demo, demo and post-demo clinical information is documented in detail and shared with the organization.
- Actively work to improve self-clinical knowledge base by reading journals, articles, attending classes etc. and share with team members. Keep current with product functionality by proactively reviewing customer release notes and demo scripts and create understanding of how functionality plays a role in the industry.
- Travel required up to 75%.
- May be required to roll large equipment up to 100 lbs.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 3+ years of multi-slice modality experience, with 3D lab experience preferred.
- 5+ years in a clinical environment preferred.
- 3+ years PACS Administration preferred.
- Your skills include:
- In-depth knowledge of ancillary radiology workflow.
- Knowledge of Philips Radiology PACS Application, preferred.
- Understanding of sales principles.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, clinical realm, or equivalent.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
- You have a proven ability to communicate effectively across customers, sales, and technical teams, with demonstrated leadership and a strong grasp of industry trends.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $160,500 to $171,000 annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
