The Client Services team is a critical part of Yahoo Ads Sales, partnering with advertisers and agencies to maximize performance and long-term growth on the Yahoo DSP. What We're Looking For

We are seeking a talented and driven Sr. Account Specialist to join Yahoo, a company transforming digital advertising through its leading omnichannel demand-side platform.

In this role, you will partner closely with the Sales team to manage and grow strategic advertiser relationships while delivering consultative guidance that helps customers achieve measurable business outcomes. You'll leverage campaign data, performance insights, and emerging platform capabilities to identify optimization opportunities, unlock incremental revenue, and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and operational excellence. You'll become a trusted advisor to your clients, helping them navigate an increasingly complex advertising ecosystem while utilizing AI-powered capabilities and agentic workflows to accelerate analysis, streamline execution, and provide more impactful recommendations.

A Day in the Life
  • Serve as the primary advertiser point of contact throughout the entire campaign lifecycle, owning campaign success from launch through optimization and post-campaign analysis.

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts as a strategic business owner, identifying opportunities to grow customer investment and long-term partnerships.

  • Become an expert in the Yahoo DSP, including Programmatic Display, Advanced TV, Native, DOOH, OLV, Commerce Media, and emerging advertising solutions.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Associate Client Services, Product, Operations, and other teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

  • Build trusted consultative relationships with brand and agency partners by providing strategic recommendations grounded in performance data and business objectives.

  • Monitor campaign delivery and performance, proactively identifying optimization opportunities, resolving issues, and recommending growth strategies.

  • Develop and present strategic insights, campaign wrap-ups, executive business reviews, and performance recommendations.

  • Lead onboarding and ongoing education for clients, helping them maximize platform adoption and campaign success.

  • Champion the voice of the customer by partnering with Product teams to influence platform enhancements and future innovation.

  • Embrace an agentic-first approach by leveraging AI-powered tools and intelligent workflows to improve productivity, accelerate campaign analysis, automate routine tasks, and deliver faster, higher-quality client recommendations.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve internal processes and customer experiences through innovation, automation, and thoughtful application of AI capabilities.

  • Lead proactively—not simply by managing tasks, but by anticipating client needs, thinking strategically, and driving accounts forward.

Previous Job Experience
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in digital advertising, client services, account management, marketing, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships and serving as a trusted strategic advisor.

  • Proven ability to analyze campaign performance, identify trends, develop actionable insights, and optimize results using data and analytics.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a passion for solving complex business challenges.

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategy, programmatic advertising, campaign execution, and measurement.

  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a client-facing environment.

  • Experience using—or strong enthusiasm for adopting—Generative AI and agentic AI tools to accelerate workflows, synthesize campaign insights, automate repetitive work, and deliver higher-quality client outcomes.

  • Curiosity and commitment to continuously learning emerging AI technologies and identifying opportunities to thoughtfully apply them to improve both internal operations and customer service.

The compensation for this position ranges from $87,750.00 - $182,500.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
