As a Client Representative, Senior Associate within our Brokerage & Investments Center of Excellence (COE), you will serve as a trusted resource for clients navigating advanced brokerage needs. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems, and want to grow their expertise in financial services.

Compensation

  • Total potential compensation for this role is between $66,500 – 77,500 ($54,000 – 65,000 base salary based on licenses held plus up to a one-time $12,500 bonus and eligible partnership and promotional bonuses) within your first year upon obtaining the required licensing and achieving performance standards.

Responsibilities

We are here to simplify the world of investing and ensure our clients feel supported when they call Vanguard. In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries through the phone channel related to brokerage and investment related topics.
  • Provide expert-level support and education on:
    • Margin trading and requirements
    • Corporate Actions (mergers, splits, tender offers)
    • Options trading strategies and mechanics
    • Fixed Income products (CDs & Treasuries)
    • Investment education and platform navigation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Identify trends in inquiries and recommend process improvements or training opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, internal policies, and market developments.

Qualifications include

  • Minimum of two years related work experience required.  Experience in client services preferred.
  • Familiarity with brokerage products and services, such as margin trading, options, and fixed income instruments.
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
  • Customer-facing and/or inbound phone experience.
  • Ability to explain financial concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience.
  • The SIE is a mandatory requirement for the role prior to starting at Vanguard.
  • Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
