Client Reporting Manager

Lantern is looking for a Client Reporting Manager to join the Client and Internal Reporting team. This role will support our clients by developing and automating delivery of new client reports using SQL, Databricks and automation tools within the Azure stack. Additionally, this role will ensure the accuracy and quality of client data by leveraging automated testing frameworks to proactively detect and resolve data issues.  

This role will also frequently work directly with clients and other internal teams to capture and document requirements and ensure delivery reports best meet client needs. 

Location:  

 USA, Dallas preferred, remote permissible 

Responsibilities:  

  • Client Report Development: 
    Write and translate business requirements into actionable, high-impact reports for clients, health plan resellers, and healthcare partners. 
  • Reporting Automation: 
    Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Databricks, Python, and Azure Data Factory to streamline both client and internal reporting processes. 
  • Client Data Quality Management: 
    Maintain and enhance data quality frameworks and validation tests to ensure the accuracy and reliability of client-facing reports. 
  • Production Support: 
    Investigate and resolve issues related to report delivery, data accuracy, and automation workflows, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. 
  • Business Model Communication: 
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to explain the Lantern business model and help ensure reports are appropriately solving their unique needs. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership role with track record of translating business requirements into technical solutions, engaging and influencing stakeholders (internal and external) and building/leading high performing teams 
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics engineering 
  • 3+ years of experience leading data engineers and/or data analysts. Candidates should also have exposure to road mapping; headcount & capacity planning; talent acquisition; and career development 
  • 2+ years of experience in data warehouse / lake house preferably on Databricks 
  • Demonstratable ability to tell a story with Data 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory 
  • Experience writing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions 
  • Deep understanding of data quality assurance practices and reporting automation 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Experience in healthcare or health tech is a strong plus 

 

Strong Candidates Will:  

  • Has demonstratable leadership experience 
  • Have experience with SQL and Python within the healthcare industry, and demonstrate the ability to learn new business models and technologies
