Lead Transformational Client Onboarding and Implementation Success at Liberty Dental Plan

Are you a strategic leader who thrives on guiding teams, building scalable processes, and delivering exceptional client experiences? Liberty Dental Plan is seeking an experienced Manager, Implementation to lead client onboarding initiatives, oversee a high-performing implementation team, and drive operational excellence across our Market Operations function.

About the Role

As the Manager, Implementation, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful client onboarding, operational readiness, and continuous improvement of implementation processes. This position combines hands-on leadership of complex, high-visibility implementation projects with team management responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to directly influence client success while developing and leading a talented team.

You will collaborate across multiple business functions to ensure seamless implementation delivery, proactively manage risks, and establish best practices that support long-term growth and scalability.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and oversee client onboarding, implementation projects, and Market Operations initiatives
  • Manage, coach, and develop team members responsible for implementation and client service delivery
  • Directly manage strategic, complex, or high-priority implementation projects
  • Establish, maintain, and improve implementation tools, templates, documentation, and processes
  • Ensure consistent execution of implementation methodologies and best practices
  • Monitor project portfolio performance, timelines, risks, and overall client experience
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure operational and data readiness for successful implementations
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks, issues, and roadblocks when necessary
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and support smooth transitions to account management teams
  • Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability
  • Support additional operational and business initiatives as needed
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in implementation, project management, client onboarding, healthcare operations, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading implementation projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
    • Six Sigma
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Advanced project and program management expertise
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience designing and implementing project management frameworks, processes, and tools
  • Proficiency with project management platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools
  • Understanding of implementation best practices and the client onboarding lifecycle
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on documentation quality and accuracy
  • Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational execution
  • Skilled at assessing challenges, resolving issues, and navigating high-pressure client situations

Our employees are distributed in office locations in multiple markets across the United States. We are unable to hire or allow employees to work outside of the United States.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $144,000, not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses. At Liberty, your final base salary will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We are committed to pay equity and also consider the internal equity of our current team members when making final compensation decisions.

Please note that the range listed represents the full base salary range for this role. Typically, offers are not made at the top of the range to allow for future salary growth.
