Job summary 

As a Client Documentation Specialist (Associate) in Client Onboarding and Service, you will own the documentation experience for clients opening commercial bank accounts. You will partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to research, prepare, validate, and manage account-opening documentation. You will use sound judgment and attention to detail to ensure documentation requirements are met while creating an efficient, client-centric experience. You will help remove friction by answering questions, aligning on expectations, and escalating obstacles when needed.

Job responsibilities 
  • Own the end-to-end documentation process to support commercial bank account opening
  • Research, draft, validate, and manage client account documentation and related requirements
  • Coordinate documentation workflow with internal partners such as bankers, sales, service, and Know Your Customer teams
  • Communicate clearly with clients to answer questions and explain documentation and signature requirements
  • Guide clients toward efficient documentation solutions while maintaining appropriate standards and controls
  • Set, manage, and reinforce expectations with clients and internal partners throughout onboarding
  • Apply critical thinking to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive timely resolution
  • Track and execute against multiple priorities using strong time management and organization
  • Represent the team as the documentation point of contact for assigned onboarding implementations
  • Escalate risks, issues, or blockers appropriately to protect the client experience and delivery timelines
  • Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration, flexibility, and shared ownership
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain requirements clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and a controls-minded approach to work
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to partner, collaborate, and influence across multiple stakeholders toward a shared goal
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing deadlines
  • Ability to learn and apply subject-matter knowledge to support documentation and process questions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while staying connected to the team
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 
  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Experience supporting account opening, onboarding, or documentation in financial services
  • Experience supporting corporate or commercial banking clients
  • Experience working directly with clients in a service, implementation, or onboarding capacity
  • Familiarity with account documentation review, validation, and coordination with legal stakeholders
