Location: Remote, United States; Preferred Markets: SF/Bay Area, CHI, ATL, New York/Tri-State Area
Summary:
As Thunder continues to evolve its selling motion around industry verticals, we are seeking a Client Director to support growth within our Manufacturing practice. This role is designed for a high-performing Salesforce services seller who has mastered the fundamentals of the ecosystem and is looking to deepen their industry expertise, selling discipline, and account ownership under the mentorship of senior leaders.
The Client Director partners closely with Salesforce, Thunder Capability Leaders, and Delivery teams to support net-new opportunities, grow existing accounts, and deliver a high-quality client experience throughout the full lifecycle. Our ideal candidate brings a successful track record of solution selling within the Salesforce partner ecosystem and credibility with deep Industry POV within Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for Thunder’s Salesforce multi-cloud and managed services offerings, consistently meeting and exceeding targets
- Own and grow a defined set of accounts, partnering with Senior Client Directors where appropriate
- Act as a lead-generation engine by leveraging Salesforce partnerships, outbound prospecting, and expansion activities
- Conduct consistent, high-value client meetings and discovery sessions aligned to the Thunder Sales Playbook
- Develop account plans in partnership with Capability Leaders and Delivery leadership
- Build and nurture relationships with key buyer and influencer stakeholders, collaboratively solving problems with customers and channel partners alike
- Collaborate with presales and technical teams to support solution design and scope development
- Ensure high client satisfaction through consistent delivery touchpoints and seamless project handoffs to technical teams
- Keep Salesforce CRM updated daily with accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting
- Demonstrate Thunder’s core values through ownership, transparency, collaboration, and adaptability
Qualifications:
- 4–6+ years of experience selling or supporting services within the Salesforce ecosystem
- 2–4 years of experience successfully selling into Manufacturing (or closely adjacent industries) with a credible industry point-of-view
- Deep experience partnering with Salesforce Account Executives and account teams, with a passion for navigating complex co-sell environments
- Working knowledge of Salesforce delivery models and cloud solutions
- Strong consultative selling skills and customer-first mindset
- Clear, professional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities with structure and discipline
- Comfortable operating within a defined sales playbook and process
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
