About the role


The Client Director, Financial Services at Auxo plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients across Financial Services - Asset & Wealth Management, Retirement Services, Alternative Investments, etc. This role entails working closely with technical project managers, solutions architects, and customer stakeholders to oversee the implementation process. The Client Director is expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to achieving successful outcomes, and a dedication to fostering growth within the organization.


What you'll do

  • Manage a portfolio of client projects within financial services (Private Markets, Capital Markets, Custody, Wealth Management) and more.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, taking them through the entire project lifecycle, from contract creation to product release.
  • Identify and understand client needs, develop and execute client strategies, and ensure the delivery of solutions that align with their business requirements.
  • Build solution roadmaps for clients and a product roadmap across Financial Services.
  • Act as an escalation point for project risks, dependencies, and general project delivery concerns.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, overseeing financial aspects from the initial sales phase to the final delivery.
  • Provide clients with advice on various business matters, including strategy, software solutions, and long-term project plans.
  • Engage with clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services within existing engagements.
  • Develop and implement organized sales processes to optimize pipeline management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients that lead to new business prospects and opportunities.
  • Recruit and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Maintain regular communication with leadership with regards to project updates.
  • Effectively manage schedules of assigned team members and self.
  • Adhere to all company processes and policies as outlined.
  • Uphold effective communication with clients and employees.

Specific Expertise in Financial Services:

  • Provide deep industry insights and technical knowledge specific to Financial Services, including regulatory requirements, investment strategies, asset management, and risk management.
  • Leverage expertise in private markets to design and deliver software solutions that address the specific challenges and opportunities within the industry.
  • Guide clients through digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve business outcomes in the private markets domain.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders in the private markets sector, staying informed about market trends and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree in a related field, along with at least 5 years’ experience in a consulting/professional services position in technology transformation or similar. 
  • At least 7 years of experience working in the Financial Services / Private Markets industry, along with experience overseeing technology teams and meeting deadlines. 
  • At least 5 years of experience as the primary owner of client relationships, along with experience navigating client relationships in a remote environment. 
  • Ability to be a player coach on teams to address delivery challenges and problem solve.
