We are actively seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, concise and user-friendly documentation that supports our systems, process and business operations. This role will work closely with subject matter experts across Claims, Technology and Compliance to translate complex information into accessible content for internal and external audiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain documentation including user guides, SOPs, release notes, FAQs, and training materials
- Document Sprint changes including new features, bug fixes and systems enhancements
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and compliance teams to gather and validate information
- Develop and maintain training manuals and onboarding material for new team members
- Ensure documentation aligns with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and user needs
- Organize and manage documentation repositories for easy access and version control including standardizing department Wiki
- Review and edit existing content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
- Deliver training to end users on system enhancements and change to business workflows
- Assist with UAT design and documentation
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business/education& training/communications/law or related field or equivalent working experience. Applicants with insurance training and development experience encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to understand and explain complex systems and workflows
- Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat)
- Experience working in Agile environments and with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and business process documentation
Preferred Knowledge:
- Experience in insurance, claims, or compliance-related documentation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The starting salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
