The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious ­­­­­Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position reporting to the Roseland, NJ office.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Be the primary contact for the client when claims need to be reported
  • Explain the claims process and guide clients upon receipt of litigation and demand letters.
  • Advise and consult on reporting requirements of professional and management liability claims.
  • Help on-board new clients, delivering a claims welcome kit and explaining claims reporting process and procedures, provide boilerplate incident reporting forms as needed.
  • Establish relationships with claims adjusters and communicate agency expectations for 1st party claims.
  • Be proficient in the agency management system to manage claims data and generate claims reports, as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Must be able multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
  • Must be detailed oriented. Accuracy in this position is critical.
  • Must have strong time management skills. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
