Itero Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise healthcare claims processing initiatives. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to gather requirements, analyze business processes, document system functionality, and support application enhancements.

The ideal candidate combines healthcare claims experience with strong analytical and communication skills and enjoys working in a collaborative, fully remote environment supporting large-scale enterprise systems and modernization initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for healthcare claims processing enhancements.
  • Work closely with developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Analyze existing system functionality and assess the impact of requested changes.
  • Document business processes, workflows, use cases, and functional specifications.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Facilitate discussions with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership.
  • Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Clearly communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations.
  • Support planning activities for system enhancements and future modernization initiatives.
Testing & Solution Delivery
  • Support testing efforts, including requirements validation and defect analysis.
  • Assist with system integration planning and implementation activities.
  • Validate delivered functionality meets documented business requirements.
  • Participate in solution reviews and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Process Improvement
  • Develop and maintain business analysis documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure documentation remains current and aligned with evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Experience supporting healthcare or insurance claims processing systems.
  • Strong understanding of claims processing and payment workflows.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating functional requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable facilitating discussions in a fully remote environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise healthcare claims systems.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, commercial payer, or healthcare reimbursement processes.
  • Experience supporting claims modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with healthcare payer platforms such as TriZetto Facets or similar systems.
